I had a meeting today at the College of NJ.
The prices seem comparable to the ones at Crieff.
The person could not make a definite committment until the end of October as to which residential units would be available.
The food cost per day per person is 26.12
The conference room cost is between $120 and $150.
One catch is that the College of NJ requires outside groups to have liability insurance for the group in case somone gets hurt while at the conference. I have not heard about this before. Do we have such insurance.
There are some new health uncertainties that I am looking into and may have to deal with.
It probably is better if we go with the opportunity in Toronto.

We do not have such insurance and it could cost a great deal. We had this
problem at the University of Arizona in Flagstaff, but managed to get a
department at the university to assume sponsorship so the insurance was
waived.

I had to buy insurance for the meeting in Boston and in LA. The university
conference offices require it. It was pretty cheap, maybe $100, and I just
got it through insurance brokers who were recommended to be by the
conference staff. It's not a show stopper.
