CSGNET archives?

[From John Anderson (981203.2025)]

Does anybody know what's happened to the reference.com archives of
CSGNET? They don't seem to be there anymore.

I've been wondering about this myself. Gary, do you know what's
up? When I go to the reference.com for CSGNet all I see is
"No info on mailing list".

By the way, I have had very little time to work on the CSG Site
lately. But I am hoping -- really hoping -- to get a revised
version of the CSG WEb Site posted before Christmas.

That's not what I get. When I search on "csgnet" I get stuff.

I don't know how back I can search, but I don't get the "No info" message.

Are you searching on "csgnet" the "usenet and mailing list archive"?

My mistake. I used to go there via the address listed at the
CSG web site:

http://www.reference.com/cgi-bin/pn/listarch?list
CSGNET@postoffice.cso.uiuc.edu

But if I just go to

http://www.reference.com/

and type in "csgnet" then I get all the good stuff.

John Anderson (981204.1515 EST)--

I thought I could find what I need from the CSGNET ftp archives
( ftp://postoffice.cso.uiuc.edu/csgnet ), which according to the CSG
Introduction at http://www.ed.uiuc.edu/csg/ is supposed to go back
to Feb 1996, but they only go back to Nov 1997. It would be really
nice to have a comprehensive archive of CSGNET/CSG-L postings
working somewhere on the Internet. Are you working on that, too,
Rick?

Actually, I've been working on everything but CSGNet. But I will
try to give people access to those archives if they are available
when I finally get around to Webmastering.
