Deontology vs Teleology

PCT contains important clues about how to interpret other theories about human behavior. It would be interesting to see what this theory can accomplish from a philosophical standpoint. PCT is a teleological theory. The defense against the dark art of teleology is deontology, which is essentially the opposite of PCT. Consider: whereas PCT refers to perceptual outcomes which must happen, rather than specific actions to carry out, deontology specifically directs us in what action to select rather than what perceptual outcome must occur. Perhaps this might be an interesting topic for discussion, given that deontology enjoys a status generally superior to teleology in ethics. Attached is a paper which discusses the reasons to act from the deontological perspective.
