At the annual meeting in 2017 we identified the need to move from 1980s technology into the 21st century, from a Sympa listserv hosted on a university computing system (a university at which we are no longer represented) to a structured forum platform.
At the annual meeting of 2020, two days ago at this writing, we announced that we will shut down csgnet as of 1 December 2020, and all IAPCT discussion will be on this Discourse platform.
If you know someone who you believe only occasionally looks at csgnet, please help to get the word out to them.
