To Bill P.
Etymology: I Just wanted to underline the difference of meaning between
the word role(with an accent on o) and roll wich mean big book, papryrus
roll. The word role is the root of contre-role, not the word roll.
Role means more than book, "to play a role on broadway".
My opinion about good control: I agree with everything you wrote(960203)
in reply to my question. I admit I never read any of Glasser books but I
intuitively think it goes in that direction. Mankind was designed by
nature to be in control of his environement but fire cut some link between
the control system and his environement. So the control system doesn't
have to be as fit as it was to the environement. He can relax at the
bonfire of his miseries. But fire also bring competition, technology,
war, superstition, french people(culture), and an lot of other think that
mankind doesn't want to control, and can't control. But you already answer
to this. But I am going to be straight, my opinion is that fire bring
mental sikness to mankind, because it implies less control over environement.
We have a poet from the dead poet society who says poetly (translation):
"The best way to kill a man is to keep him unemployed". Of course when I
say control, I mean the highest level of control, to make the paralel
with the late A. Maslow. I am due to buy book from NewView...
