I watched a TV programme
about men who have a fetish for very very morbidly obese women but they want to
keep them and feed them so they become even more enormous. I mean enormous one
guy got his wife to get up to 400kg.
(Hence called a feeder).
They seem to get a sexual gratification out of this, but there’s definitely
a whole lot more.
Would some like to
comment on the controlled variable and the internal standard that these men
have?
Regards
Gavin

Gavin,
As a starter, in some lesser developed countries, being fat is a sign of good health and of related prosperity. And so an obese wife would be valued and a status symbol (i.e., an internal standard) for husbands and others in the culture who are into such values – such as in much of Nepal and India.
But morbid obesidy in Western Countries of the type you suggest would, I assume, have other reference values associated with the men feeding such women.
With Regards,
Richard Pfau
