GAP-ACT Model

[From Fred Nickols (11.03.2000.1124 ET)] --

As usual, I'm "tinkering" with PCT, trying to get it into a catchy form I
can use to interest more people in PCT (without making an utter fool of
myself or doing grave damage to PCT).

The latest product of my tinkering is attached in a Word file. If you need
some other format, let me know. I think I can save it in Word for MACs and
I can always put it in .pdf format.

Comments hereby solicited...but take it easy; I hurt my back this morning.

Fred Nickols

Hello. My
name is Danilo Rairan. I’m from Colombia,
where I work as teacher. In this moment I’m preparing a previous
research document.
It will be useful to begin my doctoral studies. Could I use the
attached document as a reference?
The Word file has been sent by
CSGnet in a former e-mail.

Please, excuse me
if this is not the correct process.

Thanks for
your comments.

Best
regards.

Dear Fred,
I liked the GAP-ACT model too.
I will be teaching Youth Workers at the adolescent center some MOL
Therapy based on PCT.
This provides a nice way of explaining how a control system works.

You may cite it if you wish; however, you will have to cite it as an
unpublished document retrieved from the web. I'm not sure how you are
required to format your citations but as best I can tell from the APA
guidelines, you would cite it something like this:

Nickols, F.W. (2006), "The GAP-ACT Model." Unpublished manuscript retrieved
from the web on 4 Nov 2006 (http://home.att.net/~nickols/gap-act.pdf.

As you can see from the sample citation, I prefer you use the .pdf version
in your citation because I do not want to put the .doc version on my web
site. The .pdf version is available at the link above.

Thanks for your interest in the paper...and in PCT.

Phil Runkel to Fred Nickols:

Your GAP-ACT version seems good to me, too.
