Alice - I sent an email to your benchpress.com address, but it came back, so I am resorting to using the CSGnet list. I’m sorry to be bothering everyone. I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season.
Alice, two weeks ago I sent the hard-copy request for the figures I would like permission to use in my dissertation via USPS Express Mail to the Bloomfield NJ address below. Did you receive it? I need to upload my dissertation plus permissions to the University of Missouri-Kansas City publication site no later than January 8th.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
Frank

Hi Frank (and all).Thank you for your request to use Figure 1 from the
joint paper, "Perceptual Control Theory: A model for understanding-2.
when we have received similar requests to use copyrighted material from
Bill's publications, our few requirements are these: the request should
be sent in writing, with some indication on how it will be used. The
original figure and caption should not be altered.(You can find the original figure, shown as Figure 2-3 on Page 28 of
Living Control Systems III.) Note that the caption and figure on the :" A
model for understanding-2" joint paper version is different and shows
some math symbols that are not on the LCSIII original. Just pick one
version or the other without altering the text on either.I would like to reproduce in my dissertation Figure 1 from Powers, Abbot,
Carey, et al. 2011, "Perceptual Control Theory: A model forunderstanding-2 the mechanisms and phenomena of control that I
accessed fromhttp://www.pctweb.org/PCTunderstanding-2.pdf.
From whom may I obtain the appropriate permissions?
Please send your dissertation title for your with a note as to which
version of the figure you intend to use to:Alice Powers McElhone, President
