I Was Wrong

I've thought for a long time now that, if the yardstick used to gauge the
potential contribution of PCT were the behavior of devout PCTers, the
judgment reached would be that PCT doesn't have much to offer. I was
wrong. Why? Because (as is often the case), I was not seeing the
obvious. My premature judgment reflected my opinion that PCTers are no
better (nor no worse) than anyone else when it comes to expressing
themselves, interacting effectively and so on. But, as just stated, I was
missing the obvious. Devout PCTers (and by "devout" I mean Bill Powers and
Rick Marken) are by far the two most tolerant individuals I have ever seen
in action.

Gentlemen: My hat is off to the two of you.

Thanks, Fred. That's very sweet of you.

My wife thanks you, too. She was very disappointed when I said you weren't
coming to the meeting (I am too). She knows I'm not perfect (boy, does she
know) but she doesn't think I'm quite as bad as some posters have made out.
She was thrilled to see something nice said about me on the net.

Thanks again.

Best

Rick
