Last week I submitted a paper to Control 2004, a control theory
conference, about a PCT-based control structure for controlling
mechanical devices such as walking robots or a backhoe excavator. I've
put a copy on the web temporarily at
http://www.cmp.uea.ac.uk/~jrk/temp/rk-c2004.pdf
I also gave a presentation of it at the Department of Engineering in
Cambridge last Friday. It seemed to be reasonably well received,
although I think the mathematics I went into was rather elementary for
that audience.

Congratulations on the Cambridge presentation. I do hope the paper for the
control theory conference is accepted, after all the fantasies I've been
dreaming up.
