Kurt Lewin and PCT

As part of some interactions on another list, I’ve been tracking down and examining some of Kurt Lewin’s work. Today, I came across a piece and the snippet below seemed worth sharing with this list.

Lewin accounted for human behavior by emphasizing forces and tensions that influence it. He asserted that the behavior of an individual is always geared toward some goal or objective and it is precisely this intention that matters most in the performance of behavior. These intentions supposedly follow field principles and are influenced by psychological forces such as how the individual perceives a situation.
