I'm wondering whether there has been some sort of mail screw-up. I've seen
no reply from Bill to my post stamped 990928.1235 EST, nor do I have
evidence that a post I sent to CSGnet last night was received. I don't have
a copy of it here at work but it replied to Rick Marken (990928.0930).

Hi Bruce,
... nor do I have
evidence that a post I sent to CSGnet last night was received. I don't have
a copy of it here at work but it replied to Rick Marken (990928.0930).
Was this it?
Yep -- thanks! At this point, though, I was sort of wishing it would stay lost.
Best wishes,
Bruce

I'm not replying to every post; working on Crowd v. 3 is occupying most of
my time. If I think I have anything worth listening to that wouldn't take
too much time, I say it. I'm still spending too much time replying about
subjects that are basically of no interest to me. By this time I can pretty
much predict what you're going to say, and I'm sure you can predict what my
comments will be, so what's the point?
I've already been answering mail for an hour and a half. If anything
productive were resulting, I would considering it time well spent, but
that's not the case.
Best,
Bill P.
