McKinsey & Co is co-sponsoring a competition for ideas related to Management 2.0. Management 1.0, of course, is industrial-era management. Just for the heck of it, I submitted what they call a “hack” (an outrageous idea). I proposed doing away with the current management mindset regarding employees and substituting one that recognizes people as “living control systems.” I used the submission to tout PCT and to give credit to Bill Powers.
