How would you compare/contrast PCT with the following major psychological
theories?:
1. William James' ideomotor theory of voluntary control
2. Edward Chace Tolman's S-O-R version of behaviorism
3. J. J. Gibson's ecological realism
While coming to grips with PCT, I've become quite curious about your
knowledge of, and reaction to, these approaches to psychology. Have they had
any influence (positive or negative) on your development of PCT?
