Thanks. The response has been very good. We hope to be funded by the
Annenberg Foundation to do a video on children's misconceptions in
mathematics in the near future.

I can hardly wait to see Dag's tapes of the conference!

One direction I think is interesting is the use of Bachelard's
notion of epistemological obstacle, and link evidences of current
misconceptions to apparent impasses and conflicts in the
development of mathematics historically (e.g., Brousseau).

Is "Der Werst Haus" (approximate spelling) tavern still operating
at Harvard Square? I have been there twice, both times more or less
randomly stopping in. The first time, I ended up having lunch with
B.F. Skinner; the second time, I met the woman I ended up marrying.
I'm not sure what effect a third visit might have had!
