Hi gang,

Warren and I have just had an organising committee heads of state summit meeting (actually it was a chat on the phone) and we're heading towards a bit of a problem.

The problem is this ... the venue for the CSG Manchester in November 2007, Chancellors, are prepared to allocate 20 to 30 rooms to the conference we have planned but only until other people start to make bookings for them. That is, unless they're paid for by the conference delegates for CSG Manchester first. So, without paying for the rooms, we've got them until someone else wants them. I guess at some point we'll need to set a date to call the whole show off if there's not sufficient (paying) interest but I'm not sure what date that will be yet.

So, that's we're things are at at the moment. I just wanted to keep you up to date.

Dag, Rick, and Bill would you mind forwarding this to CSG?
