The APA this past January just started a new journal; Neuropsychology.
I believe a biologically based model of HPCT that ‘explains’ consciousness, emotion and memory will be the new science of psychology.
That is one of the reasons I am on this list, and will remain on this list. I would not have been in this position were it not for my understanding of PCT & HPCT.
I believe HPCT is biologically based. I believe there are coherent theories of consciousness, emotion, and memory that are biologically based and consistent with HPCT. I do not consider Bill’s theories on consciousness, memory, and emotion to be part of the HPCT model. If they are, they are not consistent with what I believe to be more plausible and accurate representations of both.
I think all of this is very exciting. Bill, I believe your dream is about to become reality, but not quite the way you envisioned it.
HPCT explains behavior very well. I have a way of biologically explaining HPCT very well. Sounds like a winning combo to me.
