Neuroscience intro?

Hello All:

Several weeks back someone on the CSGnet recommended a recent book as an
excellent introduction to "the brain," or current neuroscience research. I
inadvertently discarded the post and would appreciate a repetition of the
author and title.

Thanks

Clark

Several relatively new introductions are quite good.

Brainscapes : An Introduction to What Neuroscience Has Learned About the
Structure, Function, and Abilities of the Brain by Richard M. Restak

Creating Mind : How the Brain Works by John E. Dowling

Phantoms in the Brain : Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind by V. S.
Ramachandran, Sandra Blakeslee

Visual Intelligence : How We Create What We See by Donald David Hoffman
