Thanks for this Ted. It looks very interesting. It will take me a
while to digest it. I think it's possible that it may already be a
control model; the "if" statements suggest comparators. Often what are
described as "rule based" models are actually control models when they
are implemented in a closed loop (so that the inputs depend on the
outputs just as rule driven outputs depend on the inputs. An example
is Braitenberg vehicles (google it), which are often described as S-R
machines but are, in fact, control systems.
