I feel the same way about parenting while a fundamentalist Christian. I'm
not sure I would make it illegal, however. But perhaps I should rethink my
easy-going tolerance...

So, who would you allow to parent?

So, who would you allow to parent?

Why, people who think exactly the way I do, of course.

We've finally found the perfect answer to the overpopulation problem. I'll
sleep better tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving to the select few Canadian brethern.

NOw as I understand it, among the fundamentals of the Christian faith is the
proposition that one should "love one's enemies." Now, "easy-going tolerance
fall somewhat short of this standard to begin with, so where does rethinking it
lead to?

I have a firm rule never to argue theology. I have no desire either to
convert or to be converted. I suggest that Christians might want to
practice their faith by loving Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban.

Bruce Gregory is an ex-patriot.
He lives with the American
poet and painter Gray Jacobik
and their canine and feline familiars in
Pomfret, Connecticut.
