PCT and Law

Hi. My name is Jolene Fairbrother. I am a 3rd year law student in Canada
and i am also a member of IAACT. I am doing a major research topic on
the implications and applications of PCT to the law. This class is
actually alternate dispute resolution, which also involves mediation,
negotiation, arbitration, and the like. I am wanting to explore the
finer boundaries between the practice of PCT and my role as a legal
advisor. Advantages, disadvantages, etc. I was wondering if there was
any other lawyers out there in the community who could help me in this
domain. There is no literature that i can find on this topic and i
desperately require some input. If anybody has any information that
could help it would be much appreciated. More importantly, if i could
speak with any lawyers who have experience in this area it would be of
tremendous assistance. Thank-you and hopefully i will be in touch on
this matter.

Hi Jolene --

One lawyer who has been interested in PCT and the Law is Hugh Gibbons, a
professor at Franklin Pierce Law Center. Contact information is at his
web page.
