Lots of good stuff in there! Looking forward to reading more carefully.
The web-like hierarchy diagram resembles Dag’s image that he uses on his book covers. I borrowed it and modified it for several papers. I don’t believe I credited it–my bad!
paper, Rupert. I imagine (and hope) it will spark a lot of
interest in PCT. I noted also you adapted my hierarchy
diagram and your examples should spark interest in the
hierarchy.
Yes, I needed a higher resolution image so rebuilt it and thought I
may as well expand it at the same time.

Nah Bruce, the image is in fact a slightly modified version of Figure
Two, page 42 in The Method of Levels by Carey. I provided the image to
Rupert and he has modified its appearance just a little.
Nice article indeed. I will enter a few nitpicks into the pdf and forward
to Rupert.

RM: Nice paper Rupert! Hope it gets accepted by a very high impact magazine or journal.Â
RM: My only suggestion would be to emphasize (somewhere) the fact that the perceptual control approach to robotics would focus on the design of systems that can perceive complex aspects of the environment rather than on the design of systems that can produce complex motor outputs.
RM: Again, jolly good show.Â

Just to clarify, the images are place holders at the moment. The
article is intended as a guide for a magazine editor from which
they would write their own article. Should they want to use any of
the images then creditation would be sorted out at that point.

Can you put the PDF of the final article up on your website or on Dropbox? Or can you provide it to Dag and Warren to put it up on the IPACT and PCTWeb sites? (Inclusive ‘or’, that.)
Both go to the same place, the latter had an erroneous period, which
I have now removed.
The paper is available for early access on patreon here
It will soon be generally available.
The article which was the subject of this thread is a different
article. It is not available for publication or distribution, but,
just for CSGNet, the latest version can be viewed here,
