Hmm. I did as you suggested and missed it first time through. Caught it
the second time around. What do you make of it? It is so blatantly
PCT-like that I wonder why no mention of PCT outright. On the other hand,
what if he's never heard of PCT? Wouldn't that be remarkable?

OTOH, perhaps she comes from a part of Indian society where people assume PCT as a matter of course, so no special reference is expected or required.
