Yes, it’s essential to determine what’s important for yourself and then do it.
The video demonstration of foveal target tracking is very nice. I suppose next is a secondary visual system for the broader visual field so that it can re-foveate instead of just stopping when the target moves too rapidly out of the field of vision. I had the impression that happened mostly with lateral movement of the target.
