[From Dag Forssell (2001.0321.1030)]
I am pleased to announce the availability of video tapes from the PCT
computer workshop that Tom Bourbon, assisted by Tim Carey, held in
Phoenix, January 16-18, 2001. This workshop provided hands-on,
computer-based training in the basics of PCT for educators involved
in the Responsible Thinking Process (RTP) who are already familiar
with and committed to learning PCT. The workshop was not designed for
taping (Tom and Tim focused their attention on participants, not the
camera) but since I control with high gain for video-taping PCT-
related events and Tom went along, here are the videos.
Tom passed out two diskettes with software for use by all the
individual computers. Rather than copy and enclose these, I offer an
updated version of my "CSG CD" with the following contents:
1) All software handed out on diskettes during Bourbon's
PCT workshop: Demo1, Demo2 and Crowd documents and programs
by William T. Powers; Tracking task programs by W. Thomas Bourbon
2) CSGnet from inception through mid-March 2001
3) Responsible Thinking net from inception through mid-March 2001
3) Special publications: Bill Powers' 1979 Byte articles.
4) Closed Loop. Four issues restored to date. See list below.
5) CSGnet threads Dag put together on diskette back in 1994-1995.
6) Dag's book. Rubber Band video script. Paper by Phil Runkel.
I will distribute courtesy archive copies as usual as soon as I have
updated the last few CSGnet digests and reviewed the RTP archive
which I just received. But first, I have an urgent translation
assignment to finish, so nothing will be put in the mail until next
week some time.
For an up-to-date listing of available video tapes, drop me a note:
dag@forssell.com. Specify PCT, RTP or both (These videos will be
listed in both). I'll send the order form and detailed info you
request as a pdf-file. All videos are available in both NTSC and PAL
format.
For this set of three videos, I ask $60 plus $10 for the CD plus $10
for shipping worldwide. Total $80. CD alone by mail: $10.
If you want Closed Loop pdf-files alone, it is OK to ask for them by
e-mail. They are 500-600 kb each.
The list below shows finished volumes of Closed Loop. These require
about two working days each to restore. Eventually, I will restore
all. If you have a suggestion regarding which issue to restore next,
let me know.
