Peer Review

The
IAPCT/CSG Board would like to let you know that:

If
you would like feedback on a draft paper, article, or other work related to PCT,
you are encouraged to solicit help from our colleagues on CSGnet.

To
do so, simply send your request for help to csgnet@lists.illinous.edu along with an idea of the type
of writing or work about which you are seeking feedback. Then after receiving responses from
interested persons, send your draft to those who express an interest in helping.

Obtaining
feedback from those on the listserv has a number of advantages. For example, you can:

  • Determine how your
writing and ideas affect different readers

  • Determine
strengths of what you have written

  • Obtain suggestions
for improvement and identify elements that need more work

  • Establish a pool
of reviewers to suggest to journal editors.

So,
don’t hesitate to share your ideas and solicit help using CSGnet.

Relatedly,
if you would like to share thoughts about how we might improve our IAPCT/CSG peer
review services, please contact me at richardhpfau@gmail.com. If some of us put our heads together, we may
be able to develop ways of helping to improve our PCT-related writing even more
than the informal peer review approach mentioned above.
