Perspectives

I present a different, additional perspective on one and the same thing
...PCT offers an ADDITIONAL perspective, which I do not devalue at all. Why
do you read me that way? Because you think that only one perspective can be
valid?

How do you determine the validity of a "perspective"?

I think your "model based" MCT controller and the PCT controller are two
different perspectives on how a human controls a cursor in a tracking
task. Experimental tests can be used to determine the validity of these two
perspectives in terms of their ability to predict human performance. If one
perspective accounts for all the data and the other doesn't, would you say
that one perspective is valid and the other is not? Or are both perspectives
still valid?
