Dear IAPCT members and enthusiasts,
The board has started organising next year’s IAPCT conference. We wanted to begin early so you can plan ahead.
Here’s our preliminary plan:
2026 IAPCT Conference: 7–10 October 2026, York, UK
With the possibility of some extended activities (like an MOL course?) in the days before or afterwards.
York is home to Tom Merrill, our new vice-president. It’s a lovely, historic city in the north of England, and we look forward to hosting our next conference there.
We’re currently exploring venue options for both the meeting and accommodation, and will update you once we’ve found something suitable. We chose early October for a chance to experience some beautiful autumn colours. There’s no guarantee of sunshine, but the weather in York is supposedly less rainy than in Manchester 
As in previous years, the conference will offer both in-person and hybrid (online) participation. However, based on our experience last year, we recommend joining in person if possible — it really helps you feel part of our community (see 35th IAPCT Conference and 2025 Annual Meeting - iapct.org for a video of our Zwolle meeting).
