Dear Sirs,

please subscribe me to the Control Systems Group List (CSGnet),

I present myself: my name is Paolo Osman Teobaldelli

born in Italy, 30/01/1967.

I’ve got a Ph. D. in Linguistics in 1999 in Germany in the more general

ambit of philosophy of language and specifically I tried to bild a new

integrated theory of human communication based on a new semiotical

and philosophical perspective of human beings.

My work is in a way close to the second order cybernetics

although I would dare to say, it is in possession of some new key concepts

for what concerns semiotics and languages.

In few words I researched for years about the uman intelligence and

developed from 99’ a new model of human intelligence, which can be used

for experimenting new models of artificial intelligence. The key of my projects

is a new perspective of the relation between mind and language,

and I developed a pilot project for trying a new prototype of an articial

machine which is based on the possession of a basic cognitive system

which is informed by the results of my research till 99’ which in a way

present a revolutionary point of view of cognitive/linguistic activities.

I’m now searching for some financial support to realise this prototype

and/or some offer to work in some group which is researching about

artificial intelligence.

The problem I have is that due to personal problems I remained quite

isolated in the european and world academies.

Thus I hope to get in the list so that I would be able to communicate

with other academicians.

A paper which shows in a way part of my preliminaries

research in the field of human intelligence can be read

at the last issue (verano 2007) of the international magazine

SINCRONIA (Guadalajara University, MEXICO).

I wrote that paper in 97’. Unfortunately

is in italian (cause is a pilot paper which I kept

hidden till last year).

I tried reading this using Google translate, but I’m sorry to say
that the translation was not good enough for me to extract much sense
out of the paper. If there’s anyone on the list who knows Italian and
English well enough to do the translation, it would make it easier for
us all to know whether Dr. Teobaldelli’s work is PCT-relevant, and
whether we can help him or he can help us (or with luck, both).

I’m close to finish a paper

which is titled "Towards a new modelization

of natural intelligence" but it is also in italian language

unfortunately.

Anyway my work stems out from the one of Petöfi

a famous matematicians i linguistician who worked

a lot in the field of artificial intelligence, and

my model cames from a refining of his theoretical

asset.

… ah … I wanted to spend some words about

the automatic translating … this is exactly the point

I built a model of intelligence and one of the first

test would be rightly this, making a machinery

(a software) able to do a translation without

loosing ths sense of what it translate, as often happen

with most softwares of this type.

And the point is a theory able to understand

signification as a process which is intelligent
