Attached is a rather personal report on publishing I hope will be
helpful to those who have manuscripts they want published.
Note a series of documents by the President of Berrett-Koehler
Publishers that spell out what is expected of an author. The indirect
message here is that you should beware of a publisher who promises to
promote your work for you. The author has to do the promotion.
If that is the case, you might as well publish yourself. You can do
that. And you can do it so you are fair to the prospective reader and
fair to yourself as author.
The general subject matter may benefit from a discussion.
