This is a test to see if my posts that go to UIUC.EDU have the right
address. Rick Marken, if you see this please just reply with OK as the
subject line. Everybody else just ignore this.

Again, everybody but Rick can ignore this and delete it.

Thanks, Rick. Now I'm confused.

Your second message just came through. My message got to you apparently because I sent it to "CSGnet@listserv.uiuc.edu" . Your reply to it, however, shows "Illinois" in place of "uiuc", and that was rejected. What's going on? Did you just hit "reply" or did you type in the address?

Bill

I typed in the "Illinois" address as the "Reply" address. Maybe the
uiuc address works for you because you're a list manager. If that's
true it should work for me to. I'll try it now in a separate post.

Subject: Rejected posting to

Hi, Henry –
Hmm. Looks like you’ll have to subscribe to CSGnet if I’m to use it in
the wholegroup list. I was hoping not to have to put everyone
individually on my wholegroup nickname list. Everyone else not subscribed
will have the same problem when they use “reply to all.”
I was counting on the CSGnet address to take care of lots of people. What
to do?
Bill

You are not authorized to send mail to the CSGNET list from your
hy43@DUKE.EDU

account.
