To all those on the net who did NOT attend the annual conference
or did NOT send in a renewal of their membership ($45 regular, $5
student), you will NOT be receiving the next issue of Closed
Loop, due out in a week or so.
For those of you on the net who have never been members of CSG:
Closed Loop is a 72 page publication which extracts and reprints
some of the more juicy net discussions. Membership brings you
four issues a year and the cozy feeling that you are helping to
support the Control Systems Group in general and student
attendance at the annual conference in particular.
In this cold cruel world of people who can't decifer what we're
talking about, or who think they can but can't, it's really nice
to have access to people who (more or less) agree about the
importance and value of perceptual control theory. That's what
the CSG is for, and this net. So any help supporting it is very
welcome. Send memberships or requests for information to
