Like me, Ron Paul is a Catholic, and believes that human life begins at
conception. In that case, abortion is murder, just as if someone
decided their one year old or two year old was too much to deal with,
and decided to do away with them. When Dr. Paul was the Libertarian
candidate for president in the 80s, there was considerable debate
within the party about his position on abortion, since it is a minority
oprion among Libertarians. At that time, Dr. Paul noted that in his
opinion, an unwanted pregnancy is a tragedy in the true classic sense of
the term, a true conflict of rights. The child has a right to life,
while the mother has a right to free control of her body. He, like I,
argued that the choice of abortion is the less desireable, because it
deprives the child of an expected life of 70 years or so, while it
deprives the mother of 9 months or less of freedom.

At least you guys have a choice (which you'll never have to make, by
the way). A Libertarian who wants to deny that choice to a woman, as
Paul does, has chosen to be the most hypocritical of central planners.
Frailty (in the form of hypocrisy), thy name is Libertarian.

No, but my wife has and I have heard about the experience from her and
