If you align your concepts with the ones in Brown's diagram (e.g., situation = problem), while making the same connections that Brown made with his hierarchical circles and reflexive arrows, the corresponding lines that link your components appear to trace the anatomy of the brain.

I'm not sure I see the connections you mention, Chad.

Fred, that's a great start. What is missing are the connections,
naturally.
Try this: Use Brown's (2001) diagram of the co-generative research model
to
fill in the loops and interactions:

research.html
When it is complete, you may also find that it roughly resembles a
top-down
view of the brain itself (e.g., executive functions on the right).

I recently put up a new tool in my Knowledge Worker's Tool Room. It
contains links to the PCT Primer I wrote a few years back and to an
article
about my GAP-ACT or Target Model, which is based on PCT.
The editor of Performance Improvement Journal would like to publish the
PCT Primer (and the GAP-ACT piece, too). The audience is only about 5,000
people but at least it's one with some clout when it comes to matters

to human behavior and performance in the workplace.
If you'd care to see the piece that prompted the request from the editor,
here's a link:
