Test of CSGNet

This is a test message to see if the CSGNet server is up. This is just a test. If this were a real emergency you should immediately pick up a copy of “Controlling People” and read the instructions therein regarding what PCT is really about.Â

Best regards

OK, thanks!Â

This has been a test of the emergency control system system. The test is over; you  an now go back to being horrified by the results of the election.Â

Lol…  I think I’m going to escape to a mountain and play in some snow for the next couple days. There aren’t any politicians up there, or at least they’re not admitting it…

Have a great weekend,

RM: It’s not the politicians that horrify me; after all, Obama is a politician and people don’t get much better than that. It’s the people who voted for Trump that horrify me. There are just way too many of them. I thought he’s be lucky to get 20% of the vote; but he got nearly half of them. Luckily there aren’t that many Trump voters around here in California. But you do find them in the mountains here and I would imagine the same is true in Colorado. So be careful.Â

Rick, I’ll remember your advice as I go shooshing around the slopes! Like much of the rest of the country, Colorado is basically blue in urban areas and red in the rural areas  It was a pretty close race here. I’ve noticed people are simply avoiding the subject for the most part, perhaps holding our collective breath.

I had a great experience yesterday - a friend and I went snowshoeing in Pagosa Springs, and met two Russian women at the peak of the trail. One has lived in Oklahoma for 15 years, the other is visiting on a visa. There was no mention of politics, just a lot of sharing about our families, places we’ve lived, and having fun taking photos of them enjoying the snow in their rented snowshoes. I came away feeling that’s as it should be - we should all be able to enjoy our time on this little planet, blue, red or otherwise. People seem to make life so much more complicated than it ever needs to be…

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

with love,

*bara

Rick, when I first saw this, I figured you had collected the mailing list from the server and sent messages directly from yourself to all CSGnet participants, whether set to "no mail" or otherwise suspected of being dormant.

If you do, you will get several messages from recipient servers to the effect that there is no such address (any more), or some other indication of a permanent problem.

These can and should be deleted from the server.

Anyhow, this would be the way to clean up the CSGnet address list.

Keep up your good work

Best, Dag
