To Tim, Wolfgang, and Phil:

Thank you all! You certainly made my day.

Add me to the list Mary. I was one of the clearest, most succinct
explanations I've seen lately.

Best, Dick R.

Hi Gary

Great to meet you at the meetng. You'll find that I am even worse on the net;-)

I'll start being irritating by noting the customary way we head our
posts no CSGNet:

[ Name (Year.Month.Day.Time)]

It's a bit of a pain in the a** to write this each time but it helps
us know who is sending the posts. Sometimes it's not clear who is
saynig what, especially when we get into nice heated discussions.

Also, I just mailed a copy of _Mind Readings_ to Amazon so you should
get your copy pretty soon. I also recmomend that you (and everyone
else on this list) order a copy of the sequal-- the cleverly titled
_More Mind Readings_ -- from newview publications, which means Lloyd
Klinedinst (lloydk@klinedinst.com) and/or Fred Good (I think you can
get him at fred@newviewpublications.com).

Best

Rick

i want to waste a litle bandwidth and thank the group, and in particular
mr nevin and mr powers, for providing me with such stimulating and
enlightening discourse over the past week. i have always enjoyed the
conversational level of this group, and have benn especially rewarded recently
with a wealth of material that illuminates my worldview (while at the same
time providing the impetus to remain in the darkness of my study, to read
and program). i'll be on vacation for the next two weeks, and will be taking
the printouts of this last week's discussion with me.
again, thanks. you've given me a lot to think about.

There's no way that I can send individual answers to everyone who sent a
message after my "spreading the word" post. This will have to do, and I
hope it's ok.

I was truly surprised and very touched by all the posts. Not only was I
surprised to get them, I was surprised at how good I felt about being told
by a whole bunch of people that they cared about what was happening and how
I was feeling. Thank you so very much for helping to relieve some pretty
glum feelings.

Of course I am aware that sending this post to thank people for sending me
messages means that lots of folks will read it who didn't. I have no
opinion about that and no reason to develop one - I am very grateful for
what I did receive and that's enough for me.

Thanks again,

Mary P.
