The Wonder Weeks slide presentation

[From Dag Forssell (2009.10.24.18:50)]

I announced the availability of Frans Plooij's slide presentation in early September. Soon after, the website was changed.

The new and improved website www.thewonderweeks.com is now up and running.

The slide presentation is available under Book / Science.

Best, Dag

Dag,
I tried with three browsers to view the slides, but received the message that the file was broken and could not be repaired.

Hi, Dag --

I don't know what is meant by "slides," but I can read everything I tried to read on thewonderweeks. A really great job of web page design. It still seems very strange to see my language popping up in a context like this!

Frans and you are probably headed for some real recognition before long.

Best,

Bill

before long.David, Many thanks for pointing this out to me. I found this morning
that only 1.4 MB of 20 were actually in place for each file. It has taken
me most of the day and at least a half dozen attempts at 30 minutes each,
for each of the two 20 MB files to finally get them to upload. Filezilla
never managed to complete the task. Eventually, Power Desk Pro version 7
(my old workhorse for file management and FTP) went through to
completion. Because of these difficulties, I created a mirror at my own
site. So the main download is a server in The Netherlands and the
Alternate is in Boston.

Have another look. Bill no doubt looked at the “print” version,
which was in place first.

Bill, “Slides” refer to the fact that this started out as a
PowerPoint presentation and the whole thing is a slide show.

We are working on recognition for Frans  . I just ordered the
distribution of a press release. Due out Tuesday. I will share as soon as
it has been finalized, i.e. approved by the people who distribute.

Best, Dag
