Unburn and simconz.exe

Bill Silvert informs me that Greg and Pat Williams' "unburn" program is
now available on his server. The unburn program is a script which you run
with MSDOS debug to create an executable program (the script is a text
file). Simconz.ash is also a text file which you can unburn to get the
self-extracting zipped version of Simcon. Sort of long-winded, but if
you can only download text files from your mainframe to your PC, this
is the way to go.

Anyone without access to ftp can request these two files from me and I
will send them direct, with instructions.

If you (or anyone else submitting files to the server) sends me a file
in the format:

filename1 description1
filename2 description2
...

then I can use this to label the files so that you get the full
description when you use ftp or gopher. The filename must be exactly as
the file is posted, the description should be about 40 characters or
less. For example,

simconz.ash text file which you can unburn ...

is OK, but

Simconz.ash text file which you can unburn ...

is not.
