Vensim

Just a quick word to say that I also have Vensim PLE, running on a Mac, and
I've tested some of the demos that have been posted. Aesthetically, I say
yuck!, because within its own window it recreates the Windows look and
feel, but I'm willing to swallow my qualms.

Strange -- why would they bother to do that when the Mac has its own window
creation/management system? Let's see, a Mac simulating a PC running a
simulation (Windows) of a Mac. For some reason the word "recursion" comes
to mind . . .

While you're here, Richard, would you be kind enough to explain to me how an
open-loop, passive equilibrium system and a closed-loop, negative feedback
system with a gain of 1.0 can be indistinguishable behaviorally? I'm still
puzzled about that.
