as I have it. I'll be happy to mail a pdf-file (requires Adobe Acrobat

Video tape update:
The videos from St Louis are ready for copying. However, the sound on my
1993 $1,200 S-VHS editing tape deck went bad. A $150 repair helped, but
left the sound bad at slow speed, so it is now destined for the trash can.
I have copied the Burgdorf recordings to two tapes using an ordinary deck,
but am not 100% pleased with the result. Also, sooner or later I will need
to duplicate some of the early S-VHS tapes and others where I must copy the
sound off the edge track. Therefore, my Christmas present was ordered
yesterday. JVC HR-S7900U sets me back $256 by mail from NY. With built-in
Time Base Correction and 2MB memory to momentarily hold each frame, it
should provide crisper copies off my original VHS tapes than the old unit
did. Amazing how technology improves and prices fall.

I have made an effort to finish off my backlog of video tapes. CSG 1998 - 3
tapes, MOL 1999 - 2 tapes and CSG 1999 - 3 tapes, RTP 99 - 3 tapes and
others. I have produced about 120 copies altogether so far, but have not
yet quite satisfied my backlog.
Christine and I are leaving tomorrow morning to attend the graduation of a
relative in New York and will be gone for a week.
After we come back, I will make more MOL tapes and will fill Bruce Innes'
and David South's prepaid orders.
For the time being, I will continue my old bargain-basement pricing: $10
per tape, plus $10 for handling and postage.
I intend to post a comprehensive list of available tapes with order forms
at my website, www.forssell.com. I have wanted to set up that website for
some time now. At long last, I am organized with a PCT office upstairs
where I can access my books and papers, rather than files in six places
around the house. So progress will be faster in the future.
